Help me make a difference!
Over the past few years, many of you have generously and consistently sponsored me to take on the Smith Family Challenge to raise money for the Smith Family's Learning for Life program.
Thanks to all of your support, the Challenge continues to be a huge success. Last year, we raised a record amount of just over $1,000,000, and we have another ambitious target for this year’s event. Through our ongoing support of the Smith Family, we have had the benefit of hearing numerous first hand stories of how effective this broad based program has been in breaking the cycle of disadvantage through supporting the primary school education needs of so many Australian children.
At the end of this week, I am doing this once more and yet again, shamelessly asking for your support. This year, with the strong support of our new firm, Evans Dixon, we will cover another 100kms racing through the bush on foot and on bikes, in kayaks and in water, this year in the Great Lakes region of NSW.
This is a gruelling couple of days. There will be pain, tears, complaints, too much kayaking and a few laughs along the way. I can assure you that we will do justice to your generosity.
I know there are plenty of good causes out there looking for your support – and any donation will be greatly appreciated. 100% of your donation will go directly to supporting Learning for Life. In addition to donations being tax deductible, our family will make a significantmatching contribution.
Please take a moment to view my online fundraising page and click ‘Donate' to show your support. It will only take a couple of minutes and a tax deductible receipt will be emailed to you immediately.
Thank you in advance - your generosity and support for this upcoming two days of pain is greatly appreciated by everyone involved and most importantly, makes a huge difference to the lives of hundreds of children on the program.
All the best
