In early March 2026, I will be participating in my 9th The Smith Family Challenge to help Aussie kids in need.

Alongside three team mates, we will run, ride, paddle over two days and cover approximately 120kms.

It will be tough given I am not getting any younger and I still loathe the paddling legs however my suffering is a small price to pay if we are raising funds to help kids in need through The Smith Family. 

1 in 6 kids in Australia are growing up in poverty. They try their best at school but without the essentials for the education, they fall further behind in the classroom, feel left out in the playground and fall deeper into the cycle of poverty.

But every child deserves a chance!

That's why I'm hoping to raise as much as I can to help these kids create a better future for themselves and Australia.
